Rockford Pickleball Club is partnering with West Michigan Sports Commission to bring an incredible pickleball complex to northern Kent County in the City of Rockford. This 20-court facility will be located at the Meijer Sports Complex on 10 Mile Road. Meijer Sports Complex is already home to a premier baseball facility and sports mecca. Introducing the Winning Streak Expansion at Meijer Sports Complex!
Join the Rockford Pickleball Club and the West Michigan Sports Commission in an exciting partnership to bring a state-of-the-art pickleball complex to northern Kent County. This 20-court facility, located at the renowned Meijer Sports Complex on 10 Mile Road, is set to elevate the sports experience in our community.
As part of an $11 million expansion project, the Winning Streak initiative will not only feature the new pickleball complex but also include enhancements to existing facilities. Highlights of the expansion project include:
- Resurfacing of Miracle Field
- Championship Softball Field
- 450 additional parking spots
- Increased restroom facilities
- Canopies over all bleacher seating
- Expanded storage facility
- Umpires locker room
- Playground area
- New concession area
- Three flexible-use diamond fields for youth and amateur baseball and softball, each equipped with covered dugouts and bleachers
Furthermore, the Championship Softball Field will boast synthetic turf, grandstands, lighting, covered dugouts, and a press box, ensuring top-notch facilities for players and spectators alike.
